What is Qwell?

Qwell is a free, safe, anonymous mental health support service for adults. It’s provided through the NHS and we’re accredited by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychologists so you can trust our team to provide the highest standards of wellbeing support, mental health therapy and coaching.

Our team of professionally trained counsellors and emotional wellbeing practitioners can provide live text chat and messaging to help you work through any difficulties you might be going through.

There is more than chat services inside Qwell, though. It’s packed full of supportive, therapeutic content such as activities, collections and articles on common concerns, and a moderated forum where you can connect with others. Many people find peer support helps them feel more understood and less alone.

When should I seek mental health support?

Life is full of challenges. These challenges are often part of a rich, healthy life, but sometimes they can cause or trigger more serious wellbeing issues.

Sometimes we feel like we can deal with whatever comes our way, but sometimes it doesn’t feel like that at all.

It’s important to seek help when you need it, and check in on your mental wellbeing regularly.

Asking for help is often the bravest thing we can do.

It can be hard to know where to start, or even what you need. That’s why Qwell has a range of different ways you can find mental health support.

If you need to talk, our qualified mental health practitioners are here to listen to whatever is on your mind. Qwell also has articles, activities, podcasts, videos, journals to explore your feelings and useful content to help you learn about yourself and others. Our welcoming community is a judgement-free space to share with others who may understand how you feel and have valuable advice and insight.

No problem is too big or small, so whether you could use a friendly space to explore complex feelings, or just check-in on your mental wellbeing, Qwell is free, safe, anonymous – and here to help.
