Medway Council is committed to the wellbeing of all its residents, which is why we have partnered with Qwell to provide free online wellbeing and mental health support to everyone in our community.

Who can use Qwell?

Qwell is available for free to all adults in Medway. You don’t need to have seen a GP and there are no waiting lists.

You may already be using Medway Council support services, such as the Children & Family Hubs or Local Offer for Care Leavers. Or, you may be completely new to care services and just be looking for some support through difficult times.

Everyone is welcome at Qwell.

New parents and carers

Having a baby is a big change and can bring lots of different feelings for mothers, fathers, and carers. It’s okay to need some help during this time. Medway Council have partnered with Qwell so that new parents in Medway can find support through self-help recourses online communities with other parents in similar situations and free counselling sessions.

Care Leavers

Leaving care and transitioning to independence is a significant step in your life. It can bring a mix of emotions and challenges, and it’s important to know that support is available. Medway Council has funded Qwell which offers a safe, confidential space where you can access mental health support tailored to your unique experiences as a care leaver.

We know you lead a busy life. That’s why our trained mental health practitioners work extended hours at evenings and weekends. We make sure we’re available 365 days a year, even at Christmas and public holidays.

In Medway Qwell has been funded by Medway Council and the NHS to offer free, anonymous mental health support to all adults in Medway
